|Our client in Needham, MA has an immediate need for a Referral Coordinator for their busy call center.
The ideal candidate will receive inbound calls, emails, faxes, etc. from patients, physicians and vendors requesting services. Will coordinate complex appointment scheduling, linking referrals and ancillary services required for assigned specialty services, maintain patient demographic scheduling system(s) (EPIC). Provide patients with information on physicians, directions to locations and educational materials. Answer patient or physician questions. Interview callers to obtain full understanding of what information is being requested. Provide high quality customer service on every call.
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent experience required
A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical and/or customer service setting preferred. The representative must be able to respond knowledgeably to a wide range of patient issues
At least one year experience working as a Medical Secretary or similar position
Knowledge of EPIC is a big plus
This is a 2-3 month temp position with the following schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5pm..
