Our client, an acute care hospital with a major medical center affiliation and located conveniently in Southern New Hampshire has created a new Coding Manager position as result of restructuring department into two divisions- hospital and professional practices. This is a technologically progressive department with good support and career growth opportunities.
Under the general supervision of the Director of HIMS, the Coding Manager is responsible for the daily management of the Coding Service Line. This includes operational, financial, performance improvement, program development, customer relations, and patient outcomes. The manager is the primary resource person for the staff. Will collaborate with other departments to assure development, promotion, and maintenance of quality programs and services.
Requirements include at least 2 years of formal training in specialty or related specialty such as Associates Degree. RHIA or RHIT strongly preferred. Coding Certification.
